Look on classified sites such as craigslist.org, etc. I have seen it used for as low as a dollar a pound in some cases. When people's tanks break, they need to get rid of rock in a hurry, and they will post it wherever they can.

Define good deal. Price or quality (lots of life)?

pet solutions has it 50 pounds for $200
not sure of quality
precured good tonga usually runs anywhere from $4 to $8 a pound
it runs $5 at most lfs here
unless u need more than 50 pounds its worth spending retail so u can pick the shapes and sives u like
You can also save $ by buying base grade for stucture and bulk, them facing it with premium pieces. Liveaquaria carries fiji base live rock for $60/35 lbs.
