He is down to 8 left as of today. I talk to him almost daily and I did receive 2 of the Gulpers from him. Excellent quality and size. If you are serious about getting a Batrachus, go with Oliver as he will send you nothing but awesome fishes.

As a matter of fact it is better to have no tankmates with them. They can swallow fish their size or bigger if given the chance. I have them in a 130 gallon by themselves and am working to get between 2-4 more for a complete species tank.
If they breed it would be quite amazing and cool although it would be a pain to get the eggs and/or babies before those suckers can eat them, LOL.

Yeah it would be hard. That and they may try and take your on your hand. I'm sure they would give it a go and try and swallow your hand.
Are they still eating good and have you given them anything bigger than shrimp yet?

They will be on shrimp for a while until I get something bigger down the line. No plans yet to have them on live fish as a staple.

Are they peaceful with each other? Or is there a chance that they could eat each other?
alfon76

Not sure as far as peaceful but so far no porblems. As far as I know there is no chance they can eat each other.

Oliver tells me that their max size is 10 inches but they could get bigger so who knows.
All I know is that they can tackle a 12 inch fish easy at 8 inches, you can only imagine how dangerous it is for any tankmates if they get any bigger, LOL.
