is it possible to get a brackish water octopus? where and how and how long do they live? and how big are they? i've always wanted one, is there such a thing as a dwarf octopus, would like a really small one which doesn't grow very much.

as for brackish, forget it!

the lifespan of them is about a year so dont get too attached to one.

Everything I have read says most octopi have a fairly short lifespan and are great escape artists, even seen video of these guys climbing out of tanks like it was nothing, I think it would be cool to have one if I could keep it alive for any length of time. PICS send pics!!

they generally dont have a long life span. some are a bit over a year, but not by too much. if you can keep it alive, you'll have this one for a little bit, as its so young
