Having some prob's w/ my FH... currently he is in a 29 gallon w/ a silver aro and a ghost knife. All the fish are juvenile; aro is 5", FH is 1.5" and ghost knife is 5"
my FH won't come to surface to eat sanyu pellets but will kinda scavenge for the left overs from the aro any ideas for getting him to eat?

Yes I know this tank won't last long for these 3 fish but I am picking up 2 more 29G this week and hopefully will have my 125 up and running by September... thanks for any help guys

your FH is way too small. still not that stable cuz comm with much bigger tank mates. be patient to wait till it is alittle bigger, it will sure to fight and snatch food with its bigger mates.

Is the FH newly introduced? If it is, then it hasnt fully acclimated. Give it a few days.
If not, check your water parameters . Is the fh moving swimming normally? any lesions , cuts or weird scale formations or anything sticking out its body?

put vitamins or stabilizers in the tank.... that will boost-up his appetite
