I had one that decided frozen prawns were the best, once it was hooked on them the growth rate shot up.
Itīs true that frozen prawns is much better for the growth. I bought two tire track eels 6 months ago and they were the same size. One of them eats everything ( earthworms, bloodworms fish), the other one eats this too but he also likes prawns. After 6 months you can really see a that the prawn eater is about 1 inch bigger.
My advise is to keep on trying to make m eat prawns. If it doesnt like it in the begin, just feed it worms. If it does eat bloodworms try to defrost the prawns together with the frozen bloodworms. This way the taste of the bloodworms comes into the prawn. Start with really small pieces.
Good luck!
