heres some pics of a snapper i just caught in the lake , i was looking for piranha food when i came across this goliath with my flashlight, glad i didnt find him with my foot OUCH! + a pic of my knight goby he kills the **** out of beetles...i like this pic makes him look good, the snapper wasent harmed and i put it back in the lake he had a huge humpback? dunno y tho it was nighttime and i wanted to keep my distance so i didnt focus the lens

man the things been laying its babies in the garden for years ill keep an eye out for some eggs i live ontario canada and dunno what the cost would be to ship one to seattle... definatly couldnt ship one that size because those weigh like 30 lbs +

wow...that's awesome...

I'll never forget - last summer my wife and I were catfishing, and just sitting waiting when all the sudden her pole doubled over and the reel started SCREAMING. After a half hour fight, we could here it splashing in the dark close to us, so I grabbed a flashlight. My wife made one last pull and lo and behold it wasn't the record catfish we thought...

It was a soft shell turtle about the size of a stop sign (no exaggeration). Strange experience...we were really dissappointed since we thought she was fighting a monster catfish, but it the same time it was pretty cool to see that HUGE turtle.

and then we spent like two hours trying to unhook it without losing any fingers...that wasn't much fun..those things have surprisingly long necks!

ive never seen a softshell live and didnt think they where dangerous lol

well they have a very nastly looking beak-like mouth...I'm sure it could do some damage to a finger...possibly even amputate one.
