I got the cloudy water form my new pleco’s algae wafers. What do I do to clear it up again?
1. How Many Wafers Are You Putting In the Tank, Not the Whole Bag I Hope?

2. What Size Tank Is It?

3. Is Your Tank Getting Over Crowded?

4.When Was The Last Time You Gravel Vac?

5. Check Your Tank Ammonia,Nitrates,Nitrates

6.Change Water 25%

7.Check Filters

The Wafers Should Not Be Causing The Cloudy Water.

They shouldn't but they will if you use too many each day... basically causing an algae bloom. Just cut the amount you put in the tank each day down in half, or use fresh veggies.

here try this if you got hob filters.take some filter floss and rap some around your intakes
but not to much to slow down flow.what a few days and throw away..works for me every time..

basically. your putting in excess. if you insist on using that amount, make sure you remove them after a couple of hours. however, plecos like to feed at night, so id use veggies as wyldfya said, and then your left with something definate to take out, that wont disintergrate. just do some big water changes over the next week or so, and things should clear up
