yeah, i know, its just in breeding color, but know that I have your attention, I need help with more info. sevrums and geos are my favorate non hybrids, and I know this is closer to the convict, but the angle of the pick made it look like a black sev, so know I'm hooked

wow, I wonder what the babies would look like coming from that and my gold sev?????? silver???? grey???? Platinum????:D

for those of you who have done your homework, they only look like this when in breeding. the average color of them is simalar to the duller convicts with broken patterns, however some quality ones, like the ones from Jeff Rapps, have a metalic turqaise bass with black stipes, they are in the same genus as convicts and are just as willing to breed. I suppose the duller ones were crossed with convicts.thats all I got out of my reasearch. I have heard stories of convicts sucessfully breeding with sevrums, so I guess that cross is possible. Like I said, Thats all I got.

Are you guys aware that's its not a Severum? Its a Central American fish, for one thing - not South. And it really doens't resemble a Sev much at all. Pretty though.
