yeah it a 26' alligator gar ,but it is too dark to see him
so i think i will put some white rock in there
i don't think gar would jump ,he is so calm and peaceful (not when it's feeding time)
i will put a cover i put my 2 babies arapaima and tarpon :headbang2

Those are nice pics! I thought my room was filled with 2 tanks! LOL its all good though. I wish I could do a big pond but they say not in the condo. Oh well. I have seen huge alligator gars at Sea World here in San Diego. There is one that looks like its almost 10 feet long and 3 others almost as large and they swim in the manatee rescue exhibit. They dont seem to be aggressive at all so I dont think they would try and eat a human. But you never know in the wild I guess. They are pretty crazy looking and I wouldnt try it out. LOL!
