Great catch George ! The one you caught is about as big as the one in your show tank ?
That aimara is just a maniac !! Are you going to import smaller ones in the future ?
And finally... I HOPE YOU BROUGHT THAT PAYARA BACK here in the states !! It is an absolute beast !!

That wolf fish is one bad species. I had no idea it would hit another wolf like that. I'm assuming by watching that video that they are better left alone in their tank, is this true ?

Have any of you fish for the aimara in Venezuela? If you have, how big are they? In suriname I have heard of some caught up to 36lbs. The biggest I have landed was 32lbs. The majority of the fish there are from 12-16lbs witht he occasional 20+lbs fish. I want to go to Venezuela for aimara and payara, however I am interested in the aimara.
