might be heated at 70

going to be a plastic tub in the ground around 300-500G

going sunday to buy the plastic tub

any way on filter

i play on a water fall over live rock

if heated my snakehead will go in there or my alligators (for the summer)
if not heated- my big blue channel, some gars,some lm bass and pond turtles,etc/or my snapping turtles.

If you set this in ground at ground level you should make sure you've got chicken wire around your yard or you can expect your nieghbors to call. Gators and turtles will wander off on rainy nights.

i did this for a halloween party i had at my house

and the filter was too big to for the pump
so tommrow im going to get a smaller filter

the water fall will be mabe out of lavarock and hidden carbon bags

we dug it out in around 4hr with 2 people not bad

well `
as you can see from the pics , my yard is a mess.
so we are putting up a fence, and tilling(spelling) the yard grass.
so i dident do the water fall or the decor yet.

i do have about 25 gold fish in there tho.

i was told by this guy(he has some sick tanks and ponds)
that you dont need a filter on you pond
he has 2 ponds
over 400G
he keep natives and koi
the only thing he has is a water fall and a air pump

right now i have a 700gph pump just pushing water aroung untill maybe next week where it will be pumping a waterfall

do you think i can put my bluechannel cat in.
i put 30 goldfish in the pond monday and only found 1 dead this morning (very small 1") it had no scales, and the other 30 or so gold fish are 3-4"

blue channel cat? crossbreed? channel is punctatus, I think, can't check cause I baked my glasses, and blue is furcatus, both Ictalurus and overlapping range. 50 kg+
