when i got in tonight i looked at the tank and my BGK was just lying on the gravel and not moveing at all and i thaught it was dead but when i taped on the glass it just got up and started noseing around the tank like before is this normal or could something be wrong with it?

Don't worry he was just sleeping. I have four knives and they all do this. They really like to lie in their pcv pipes. My littlest gets freaked out if you disturb him when the lights are off and he is sleeping. But they rest of them just start swimming around normally if I tap on the glass.
well i gess something was wrong with mine because when i turned on the lights today hes just lying there and i thaught he was resting but tonight at 8pm he was in the same place and i realized he was dead
, iam not sure what was wrong he was with 3 bp but they dont come out of hideing mutch, his one pectoral fin was gone and one side of his head was wihtis colored, i realy liked him he was always out, ate flake and pellets and i was just getting him to take it from my hand iam going to miss that fish and i dont think i will ever get another one like it
