i set up pseudotropheus saulosi 29 gallon tank and the filter i have is very weak.
would it be too much water movement if i use the dial on the filter and turn it down?
i wanna upgrade in the future to bigger tank

Go for it :grinyes: It will be ok. Just turn it down like you said and I dont see it being a problem.

I had a Emperor 400 running on a 20g once. The water was so clean! The water was always great. I only did a water change on that thing twice a year and cleaned the filter once a week.

if you dont turn it down the bottom of the tank will have a bare spot from the water flow LOL

I'm just exagerating:grinyes:
