New Tank and Pictures! Some old pictures to give you an idea of the color morphs they go through. Enjoy! New tank has a waterfall! Not completely setup yet though! And some native NW squawfish.

Thanks! I love my puppy, Ace. Almost 5 months old and is super smart, knows everything i've tried to teach and then some! Just started swimming on his own! Springer spaniel mix. Actually the whole thing is special ordered from china. LifeTech is the maker and i can't pull up any information on-line for them. The hood has 2 built in lights and a filter with chemical/biological filtration. dumps back down making my "Waterfall" effect. Just bypassed the old pump because the water level being so low it wouldn't work so i just hooked up a pond pump to it. There are 3 switches ontop of the hood for the lights/pump. I'll take pictures and post them tomorrow.

Where did the mouse come from?

Is that mold?

The mouse came from a pet store. the "mold" is called moss that comes from the NW and used in terrariums.

It looks real nice. How bigs the snapper? Any photos of the snapper's tank? At any rate, well done.

frogs look good, and a nice set up. it might sound stupid, but i dont know much about them - do they swim?

Thanks... he's 23lbs and his tank is the big brown one in a couple of those pictures. it's a 258 gallon custom made deal.

Yeah they swim... they will hop from the bottom by the plant up to the top jump off and climb up the moss then go sit by the waterfall. From what i hear they jump into the water because they like to soak up the moisture which protects them. Depending on the water quality and way the chemicals react in they're skin is where the color varience comes from. It's pretty interesting.

Nice! I like your set-ups. I'll let you know, that if your frogs do reproduce I will for sure take a few. I'm setting up a 75 gal (normal 75 gal turned up on its side) terrarium, need some big frogs.

thats interesting. is there a certain water quality then that they prefer, in the same way as fish?

I use spring water from the local grocery store... works wonderful and the fish seam to love it... just have 2 dwarf gourmis and 4 double tail pineapple swordtail things. i would love to get some FW flounders or something... or some 4 eyes cycleps things... just wanted to throw some cheap fish in there for now... and i have about 16-20 baby squawfish in there untill they grow up...
