Since oscarhook was looking for a male venustus and he has seen mine i thought i would try to post a pic finally i think this will be my first shot at posting pics so bear with me let me know what you think.

Beautiful venustis. . . probably about 7in right? I always liked the livingstonii better but it's each to their own.

Read somewhere that these fish take 2 years to reach maturity for breeding.

not real sure about breeding age but i'm pretty sure he is getting ready for a mate. thanks for the comments on "Big Poppa" i'll try to post some pics of my other fish.
