Thats one amazing fish;)
Hi all, thanks for the comments. I never expect the colour to turn out like that when I 1st bought, its just come naturally along the way. Currently only feed on feeder fish. Will switch to other diet when it reach 12 inches plus. It sciene name is Brachyplatystoma juruense.
Glad that all of you like it:)

Isn't there a difference between a juruense and a flash zebra? It looks more like what I've seen labeled a flash zebra then a typical juruense because of the yellowish tones in the color on the stripes. Like if you compare pics on http://www.aquatechnics.net/catfish.htm it would fit under Brachyplatystoma sp. instead of juruense. Great cat either way ~Trent

Thanks for the info:) After comparing the pic, I very much agree with you that its a Flash. Is there any diff between this two cats in term of temp and growth etc?

Nope temp and growth rate should be almost identical. They stay smaller then the other pims so typical 2ft +/- 6" like a tigrinus or a juruense ~Trent
