You can have them in there for a while.
I have 1x 14" azul 1x 13" kelberi 1x 7" orino 1x 14-15" lmb all doing fine in a 180

depends on what species you want. the information you seek can be found by doing a search, but for smaller species like kelberi and orino, you don't need much larger if at all, but for monos and ocells at full size you'll need a bit larger and for temensis and "like" species, you'll eventually need bigger still

i would say kelberi only, even those can get big. and orinos are fully capable of getting monster size. these guys in JohnPTCs tank have to be at least 30". theyre HUGE, biggest ive ever seen. you could tell just by looking at its head and body structure that this is one massive fish. i had one that was 19" that made my 400g seem too small. so no, i dont think you could keep a cichla in that tank for life

well, i dont mind upgrading to a 400 if i have to but im worried they will get bullied by my other fish and can i keep 1 by itself or do i need several?
