is it good to use RO water?

i been using tap and nitrate chemicals thhat helped bring the nitrate levels down..and i was just messing around and tested my tap water and its my tap water thats high in nitrate..would RO water be best to use? if so do i need to add any chemicals with it?

Yes i probably is the only thing is these fish like stability not only temp but ph minerals the whole shibang so unless you have alot premade and stored it would probably be a problem unles you had a huge unit that could produce alot all the time..
