I have a 180 gallion tank that my one cichla calls home,The tank has 540 gallions of filtration and once a week water changes. I purchased desial that is what i call him from Aqua Giants in the west end of edmonton alberta canada on November 19/07 he was 3" long and very skinny. People who want to try this fish should really think about long term care for the fish and i cant even tell you how inportent water changes are for them becouse of lateral line desease. These fish need alot of attention also the have good days and bad days and stress on cichlas can really take a toll on the fish.
