i went and bought two tinfoil barbs that were the biggest i have seen ever they were both 14 inches. but i also got a couple around six inches in another tank. what other unique type of fish would go well with the smaller tinfoil barbs.

I have seen many tinfoils in with african cichlids. You could try some maybe like 3 inch africans and grow them up together since tinfoils arent that agressive to my knowledge. That would be pretty cool.

From my experience...tin foils are not really good fishes to comm with other monster fishes...due to their too shiny scales..attracted too much attention and normally will get attacked by other fishes...

used to own a few big dudes..all got torn by my aros...

I had 3 15 inch Red Tail Tinfoils that i got from TheMule last year ... great looking, always active. But they ate too much and bothered the ray so i had to give them away. You should see the look on some peoples face when they saw it. Huge...

Some nice big clown loaches would look great with the tins. Then you would be going for an Asian setup.
