L-146 Info

I have a really small one in my discus/pleco community. Its the smallest of all the plecos in there, but it holds its own. It eats pretty much whatever I put in there. Sinking pellets (usually for the discus/tetras), zuchinni, algae wafers, and shrimp pellets. The temp is 82 degrees (mostly for the discus but this doesnt seem to bother the plecos any) Pretty shy but that could be attributed to his size. Always hanging out on the driftwood pieces in the tank.

they are omnivorous and i find have a tendency towards veggies. will prob get to about 3-5" depending on what Chaetostoma sp. they can be fussy on water parameters, but if you keep them constant and well oxygenated it will be fine. they will eat there share of algae. they are quite placid peaceful fish this is actually quite a good article for some general info on rubberlips... http://www.planetcatfish.com/cotm/cotm.php?article_id=132
