*Jumps* I picked up my first canister filter today. It is a Fluval 305 I can't wait to get it all set up. I will be using it in addition to my Aquaclear 70 in my 37g tank. Anyone out there have any tricks or preferred media setup with the 305 series?

If you never used a canister filter before u should be happy with the results compaired to the hang on filters. I use filter pads and ceramic and bio balls in my canisters I clean the filter every 3or 4 months
