tank 1: 10 gallons, 5 goldfish, natural light (not direct)
tank 2: 30 gallons, 6 zebra danios, 2 red fire dwarf gouramis, 2 chinese algae eaters, 1 crab flourescent light( 30 watts)

Does it scrape off of the glass easily with a razor blade?

Dark green or light green?

Is the tank planted?

How long are the lights on?

What are your water spec.'s?

Any sunlight?

Are algae eaters eating any? (they are chinise not siamese?)

What have you tried.

Are you using the same tools for both tanks?

Clean it out the best you can, 50% water change, turn off lights & cover tank for 4 days, minimal feeding during this time. then uncover, 50% water changes twice a week for 4 weeks, lower lighting on-time to 8 hrs or less. Minimize nutreint levels. No excess food laying around. If it's not a heavily planted tank you can try an algaecide.

Let us know how it goes...

Good Luck,
