I got my first ray from John at ECZS. No complaints...the ray came around after a few days and became a pig. It eats everything with no problems.

My next ray is coming from ECZS or Aquascape...if I ever get a reply.

Thanks guys for your replys, and for thos who sent me via PM

i am turning my 240 into a ray only setup soon and am thinking of a pair or a trio,
and no i am not selling my geos or plecos lol they are going into there own tank setups as soon as they arive, once i can get the 240 empty of all fish i will clean it up and remove all the driftwood, i want to make sure it is setup perfect for them.. nice n wide open! :D

just cannot decide with what rays to go without, that look really cooll and will not kill my wallet at the same time.

David,

It really is too bad that you are no longer selling.

The sellers here are good. I am a bit partial to DW since he stands by his products
with a solid 7 day guarantee. SharkA sells bullet proof rays too.

Only problem is may be the best in the world but the costs to get a ray from him  the shipping alone would kill a man LOL

make sure to buy and read a book about rays so that you are well informed when you are ready to buy. Freshwater stingrays publ by Barrons by Dr Richard Ross is a good deal for $8 )
Sadly some of the sellers on the forums are not as informed as they like to pretend and often will sell skinny and/or sick rays wrongly identified etc.
also ask about any guarantees offered and for photos of the actual ray you might buy so you can see if it at least looks fat and healthy.
ask lots of questions on the forum as well, there are many good people ready to help newcomers to rays.
If you are able to find one, buy a tank bred ray from someone in the US who has bred the animal him/herself.
Get ready to do large frequent water changes and feed a lot of live food such as nightcrawlers and blackworms.
Rays are hungry critters that demand pristine water conditions .

you have mail :D
