I have a small freshwater tank in my school apt, and I just returned home after being gone all summer (I know; shame on me for not doing a water-change for 3 months). Anyway, I have a small Synodontis eupterus in there, and when I came home, I noticed that he has a white stripe going down each side, along with a few white spots on his face. It doesn't really look like Ich, and none of the other fish are affected. And otherwise, the catfish looks, eats and acts fine.
Anyone have a better idea on what this might be? Right now, I'm just treating it with MelaFix.
