feeding shrimp

hi all

i'm new to his and i readed that people feed shrimp, i have some frozen shrimp about 2in long, do i de-frost them? and how small would i need to cut them up to feed my silver aro which is about 8in long?

i would cut them according to the size that your current arowana is feeding on. on my datnoids i cut them in two sizes, small and medium (small is around 1/4 and medium is 1/2 inch).:popcorn:
 
Yea I drop mine infront of him or feed by hand. If u want him to be less picky and eat wutever u give him try not feeding so often.
 
defrosting is very important, coz feeding frozen stuff to your aro causes stomach and intestinal problems. just remember to feed with shells on, if possible. but dont feed the tail and head part of the shrimp (very important!). just the main meaty body, with shells on. you can cut it up to smaller segments for your juvenile silver
