i was awoken this morning by the yelling of my mother saying there was a big fish on my floor, it was the GT hard as a rock, ive never heard of gt's jumping, ive never known one to jump.........:( i'll have pics later
 
Sorry to hear that bro. My vieja jumped a couple of days ago, I was lucky enough to get it in time though.

almost an inch thick too, he will be missed
 
im not even really into cichlids, he was given to me by my dad, really pretty fish, it sucks

I know GT's arent jumpers, thats what i said in my first post, what do u mean this is an isolated case
 
I had a nice full grown GT that was being held at a LFS temporarily while I moved. They put it in a big stock tank that was being used like a sump and it jumped out. RIP
