ahh, how did you get those lionfish??
I've never been able to collect a lionfish...:(
Where did you find those? How did you catch them?
Also, can you give me any tips on catching triggers? I've never seen or caught one, but i would love to! lol
Any tips would be appreciated.

caught on Long Island. Diveing and sine neting. To catch trigger's you will need one of these thing's eather a sine net that i bigger then 3/8" holes or a 50ft net by 4 ft high and do a swoop drag.

I've been seining a bunch of times, sadly it's not permitted to "beach seine" with a net longer than 20 ft....pfft.
I haven't caught much else but filesfish, jacks, lookdowns, and cunners. I'd kill if a lionfish or a trigger showed up in one of the hauls....

The lionfish is very cool. I have heard they have spread up the coast from releases in florida and South Carolina. How do you land those without getting stuck?

i caught them snorkling. just shooed them into a glass jar.
