Im bout to get a 120 gallon. What to put in it? I only like Gars, Arownans and such type fish. But what can I put in there and keep in there for a very very long time? Im completely lost because I know these fish will out grow. If I get em young how much time do I have to get a bigger tank?

don't get the 120 gallon, save for a 180 and you can keep some gars. For arrowana, look into something 10'x3'x2high.

just take a step at a time.. slowly build it up but temptatation arises all the time.. so u have 2 control and not overstock ur tank.. =) all the best!

Get a bigger tank....so no more headache of upgrading tank later on....

I tend to upgrade as I go but end up with tanks everywhere, I once was running over a 1000 gallons in tanks and the largest was only a 150g. the whole house quietly hum from filters and pumps.
Syrus, maybe consider bichirs, south american lung fish, cachorro, or top pike minnow (belisox)?
