 10,000 g, envy is a deadly sin, but still 10,000.
I would put a huge catfishs like tsn or rtc and maybe some channel cats. Why cats because the look cool coming to the surface. Do you have a viewing window in the tank? If not I would stick to surface swimmers or cats that come to the surface to eat. Aro would work.

pb suck!! i have a red snakehead in there with my gar. a rtc would probz be munched, but might survive.
Not sure what is legal in your area, but definitely go monster MONSTER.
I mean, get an arapaima, or a few. Get a small school of paroons. I bet they would look very cool swimming around in there.
Get an RTC, or a few. Nice big thick Pacu.
Throw in some feeder guppies :)
If you have the space, then use it to its potential. Get anyhing that is recommended only for public aquariums!! Just get MONSTROUS!
Boy, I would love to see what you end up doing and what it would look like after a few years.

dude, why dont you use it for breeding really exotic, rare and high value fishes?
if i had that space, i would stock up on the higher end rays, like leos, sakura, tigers and pearls!

you mind if I stop by to go swimming?
Lets get some pics happening of this monster pond!
10,000 gallon, that is amazing. I wish you all the best with it and I am looking forward to see some pictures as well. You want MONSTERS, well these are MONSTERS. Four Arapaimas and four Alligator Gars.
Speaking of smaller monsters, I would go for Snakeheads and Asian Arowanas. But this can be very dangerous, the bigger monsters could attack the smaller monsters, and need not mention the other smaller ones. Below are Giant Snakeheads ( Channa Micropeltes), Northern Snakehead ( Channa Argus ) and Asian Red, Golden Red and Golden Arowanas. Speaking of these smaller monsters, you can have like two or more if you want instead of just one.
Cross Back Golded Asian Arowana, further classified into Blue-Based, Purple-Based, Gold-Based, Green-Based and the Silver-Based types, implying the core colour of the scales.
Lol after looking at these pictures, I can see how dangerous it can be if all these fishes above are put together. You go with what you want really, speaking of myself, an Arowana should be put in a big glass tank and the tank should only be for his/her alone. And admire the beauty of the fish, you can see its scales and colours, its true beauty in a glass tank rather than in a pond. Snakeheads, I am not sure, they can look too small or helpless with these giant Arapaimas and Alligator Gars. Giant Snakehead has been recorded to be up to 1.5 meter long, you see and think what would be the best. Sometimes just throwing all monsters into such a huge pond would look like a mess or may not look attractive or suitable. I wish you all the best.
10, 000 gallon pond, you can throw in about anything in there:D, as you know, monster fishes eat other fishes, so they are territorial, some can go to an extreme level, so they could kill ( especially when big ) not just for food but also to have their own space. So it is important to provide or decorate the pond in a way that would give them their own space and privacy. Plants and hiding places are important for smaller monsters, even feeders ( good hunting sport for the monsters) and as you would probably have had for the kois, floating plants are always perfect for ponds. If any one of these monsters gets eaten or killed, well that is what monster pond is all about :grinyes:
You can look out for examples of the environment in the water or the types of places these monsters would normally stay or prefer to get a better idea. Good luck

make it all amazone fish that get hug wich is most and go to ur retailer and ask for what he can get for u would be best
I,000 red bellies and a small yappy dog.
Rays would be awesome in there!, What do you use for the bottom of the pond??? and for filtration??? because if you only have a surface skimmer like in a pool, you would have to clean the bottom somehow:P
Oh! and Barramudi would be cool, jumping out of the water at feeding time lol

That is not a bad idea. Feeding piraņa is a lot of fun. You could throw in your neighbor's cat or even the whole neighbour. Then you could also feed them whenever you feel like and go on vacation for as long as you like. In the meanwhile they'll just eat each other.
The only thing is that you cant really see them from above. Just the water is boiling when something falls in. Better than silver $$ though.
And how about a little green anaconda while you are at it?
A family of playful ariraņas?
A cheerful pinguin colony? A cute dwarf hypo, a or a fluffy polar bear?
Has anybody seen a walrus jerk off?
There is one in the Coney Island aquarium. He loves to scare little children and jerks off every 5 minutes or so.
His penis is bigger than my leg.
:screwy:
When he is done he defecates a huge cloud of brown stuff.
Very impressive.
:clap :clap
I think I'd go for the walrus.
Yeah definitely.

ummm...10 000 seems a little gishy but wtv....id put 4 giant snakeheads in there...and umm ure 125 gallons seems to have a weird set of fish it it...arowana and giant snakehead...kinda strange...considering a giant gets to 3 feet and plus...that aint gonna last..well nothing in there would...so id just put him with ure 7 incher in the huge pond...and add a couple more...or ure gonna end up with dead fish quik...so unless ure thinkin of buying a 300+ gallon tank for the snakhead u got no choice..and same goes weith the arowana..needs bigger space

why are you guys suggesting this guy on what kind of fish to get?
he doesn't have a pond for obvious reasons.
Sometimes it is just fun to play what if,
I have a fantasy pond that i stock in my imagination, 35'x 65' and dropping in tiers down to 10' deep, approx 75,000 gallons, I sometimes daydream what I would do with a greenhouse pond like that, what it would take to filter, feed, plant and stock an amazon biotope that size.
Even though I really doubt he has that pond itr is nice to think of what I would do with it if I had the bucks.
For myself the biggest I have kept have been above ground outdoor ponds about 1800g and I have built and helped to build bigger for friends, mine were for natives I caught locally.
Your Grandparents koi pond looks great, very clear, do you have any shots that show a wider view?
