Raffle begins on August 1, 2005 continuing through August 31, 2005 (or until all 50 numbers have been selected) and is open to all registered Singapore members of MonsterFishKeepers. (http://register.php?)

Raffle number selection will start on August 25, 2005 continuing through August 31, 2005 (or until all 50 numbers have been selected). If all 50 available numbers have been selected by MFK Singapore members before August 31, 2005, this raffle will be locked. Numbers will be available on a first come first serve basis only after you have met the posting requirements in the Guidelines below.

Guidelines:

Raffle is for current residents of Singapore, ONLY.

Members must attain at least the minimum of 100 contributed posts to MFK starting from the date of their registration to August 31, 2005 (or until all 50 numbers have been selected). Staffs are welcome to partake in this raffling event, with a minimum of 350 contributed posts to MFK from the date of their registration to August 31, 2005 (or until all 50 numbers have been selected).

The date and time of the drawing will be announced 1 week after all 50 tickets have been selected.

To Win, you must be present (in person) at the Imperial Palace on the announced date and time of the drawing. If you are not present you hereby forfeit your opportunity to win any of the 3 prizes.

All qualifying participants present will have their name and number dropped into a raffle box. After the tickets have been thoroughly mixed, the 1st name drawn will win the Grand Prize. The 2nd name drawn will win the 2nd prize. The 3rd name drawn will win the 3rd prize.

This is one of the minor changes to the raffle...as the government do not allow us to ride on the system of the TOTO...so we have to increase to 50 instead of 45.

We need to make changes in the last min due to some stipulations the Singapore Police Force gave us in regards to this raffle. We do not intend to happen that way too but we need to adhere to their stipulations to make this raffle an approved activity.

Now, to ease your tension in this:

1) We are only allowing this raffle to last thru the month of Sept only. So on the last day of Sept (30th Sept) the raffle will close at 12am sharp. Even if not all the names are filled, we are taking in only the numbers that are picked by the members to take part. So, do not worry, the 50 numbers do not necessarily needed to be filled in order for the draw to take place. We are just giving the time of Sept for more members to put their numbers in.

2) We are planning for the draw in IP on the 8th of Oct. After the close of the raffle on Sept 30th, this give the staffs 1 week time to prepare for the draw. 8th Oct is a Sat and we are planning to have it at about 3pm to carry out the draw.

3) We would be looking at the avenue of you last concern in regards to members now able to come on the draw date in IP. Ofcourse we hope all members participating can attend as it is a good chance for all to witness the draw and all of us to mingle and get to know each other more. Also, we can take it as a launch of MFK site to more people too.
