Make your own @garf.org or by some base rock and seed it with live rock but be warned that with "cheap" live rock one tends to get there money worth.

Well the cost of live rock can vary greatly. Cured and uncured, locale, and amount of rock can vary the price. You can find aquacultured LR online for around $1-$2 a lbs. Keep in mind it is the shipping that kills most. You can buy 45lbs of premium Fiji LR from Fosters and Smith for $90, but shipping is another $90, depending on where you live, and this is ground 3 day shipping. But it equals out to $4 a lbs. But down side to this is you cannot choose your own rocks, you get what you get. I spend the extra $ to hand pick my rock.

That’s a drag I to was considering getting a pallet worth.
I would like to believe that the business was profitable enough for them to sell it to some one that has good health.
I hope that happens as this truly was a great deal for base rock.:(
