has anyone ever had one of their rays eat a nightcrawler and have it come out their top gill? mine just did but i didnt have time to get a pic before it got sucked back in

Yeah, freaked me out too, but I guess its just like spaghetti coming out your nose when you laugh while eating. :D

LOL....don't feel stupid...feel informed :). You'll sometimes see food pieces getting blown out of the spiracles as well. Mostly while they are chewing, this happens.
