just got a new baby flowerhorn yesterday can anyone tell me how to sex these bad boys?

Accurary: High
Reason: Male and female will have different anus appearance. Applicable to 4 months or older.
V shaped anus indicates a Male.
U shaped anus indicates a Female.

think see the head got a hump when mature=male if dun hav means it a female

hump is moderate...some females get it as well. U shape female, V shape male...lol..nice. If they are 'happy' the males will be point, the females will be blunt/rounded...:P

The vent is the only true way to tell. Another obvious one is if it lays eggs...Some flowerhorns reach sexual maturity at a very young age (less than a year) so if yours is young its a possibility but as mentioned the only way to tell beyond that is to check the vent.
