Hello all,
My name is Chris, and I'm from Hamilton (just north of cinci). I'm an avid member of cinci's GCAS and I currently maintain 9 tanks, 2 tubs, and a baby pool, and keep 3 herps. I keep a little bit of everything and try to breed what I have time to. I'm a huge fan of natural looking tanks, and even spend my Sat mornings preparing animal food at Newport Aquarium.
I look forward to meeting as many of you as I can.

Thanks for the kind words. The GCAS is a great organization w/ the greatest people around. I recommend visiting the site: www.gcas.org. I do plan to put pics of my stuff when I have some time available. Some of my pics are on the above site mentioned.

Oh, and if it wasn't for the frequent adds in TFH mag, I wouldn't know about this site. Love it though. I also have to say that I'm quite fond of 'monster' fish, but just don't have the space or time to take on more. It's heartbreaking that I'm going off to college and have to leave all but a couple of small tanks back at home. My monsters right now are my pair of Copora nicaraguense (not quite 'monster' material, only 7" for the male), my 6" raphael cat, and my 17" African lungfish, Longhorn (surely a monster in training, and a fish that will probably outlive me :omg: ). The rest of my swimmers are 4" and under, but still cool (even if they are only food to some of you).
I have high hopes that one day, in my monstrous fish room, I'll have those two custom built 1,500 gallons. Then I'll really be able to go monster status, and give them the room they deserve.

We all have dreams of Monster setups. Don't give up. You'll have it one day. Pass the words around the GCAS about our site if you enjoy it. More members means more shared knowledge. :)

Welcome aboard Chris!! i love your nickname!
Dont worry , you dont need to have a monster setup to be able to enjoy this
board. Just an appreciation for large fish in general is more than enough!!
