wuoh!? eating his legs?? that is sad.(sad to hear!)
I say get rid of your crawdads. it sounds like your lungfish is unhappy, due to bad water quality from your crawdads. people will tell you that gold fishes put out alot of amoinia in your tank. well crawdads put 5 times way more.
I don't know that if it will grow back but i do belive that it will.
I have two tigers with broken spines all the time for my rtc trying to eat them. but they grow back kinda like our finger nails. (but it takes about three months.)
I think that a leg of a lung fish is sort of like a catfishes wiskers. Catfishes wiskers it does grow back it takes about 3months
the first time i saw my catfish lost it's single wisker that grew out and had two prongs at the end of it like a snakes tough. I was about felt like cryin and be frustrated at first because i didn't think it make it grow back like how the way it was!? because one of my pirahnas ate them. but in the end it ate all three of them back!:FIREdevil
I have an african which both of the back legs are bitten and have just fallen off. No they do not grow back or seem to grow back

I never keep any lungfish before, but it's still in my list..for my knowledge I heard that their legs can regenerate.. hope it's true
and I heard that avoid keeping lungfish with other sp. cause they usually eat their tank mate..so your crawdad must be tough one:D

Shouldn't be keeping crawdads with a slow moving bottom dweller like a lungfish. If you haven't already, ditch the crawdads, add some melafix to your water and maybe a little salt to aid in the healing process. Turn up the heat a little bit and make sure the water quality is really good, 0 nitrites, low nitrates, good ph for your lung depending on african or south american and hopefully it will recover in time. As its been said, if they do recover it will probably take a few months. ~Trent
