I've a 18" marbled lungfish and 4 pcs of Pacu (~3"), plan to put them together in a 4ft long tank.
Do you guy think the marbled lungfish will eat the Pacu OR Pacu fish might eat the lungfish, specially those little 4 'legs' ? Input & comments will be much appreciated.
:) :D

not a good idea IMO..Pacus too small it might get eaten, and if they do grow up the taank wont be big enough for those monsters...

Pacu can get over three feet, WAY too big for that tank. Get rid of the Pacu.
the pacu are big?!
the marbled are 6 foot

Already given away my Pacu. Only tankmate for marbled lungfish is the common pleco. They're doing just fine. :nilly:

I have my African Marbled in with a 6 inch Wolffish,a 6 inch Strigata Pike,2 6 inch Red Hooks, and a 10 inch Pleco,so far no trouble(am moving them to a 225 gal tank after tax season,oh my Lungfish is a foot)did your Lf go awhile without eating at 1st??Mine hasnt eaten in a week.
The lungfish will get very agressive as it gets bigger. Plecos and lungfish imo isn't a great idea.

At its present size of 19" (Marbled Lungfish) & 8" Common Pleco seems okay. To me, the common pleco seems to be more aggressive than LF as it has a very strong and 'hard-body'/ :)
