Nive Gibby and L191 royal. How big are they? Make sure you have bog or drift wood in the tank for the royal.

the gibby is about 6 inch,
the royal is a little 2inch LOL

There are bacterias that live within the wood that many plecos rely on. Without these bacteria the plecos digestive system will be lacking.

Panaque actually means "wood eater"
They not only need the bacteria as WF said but I have been told that htey also need the cellulose from the wood.
All I REALLY know is that the sawdust my panaques create is incredible.

They realy do need wood.
