I cant tell from your pics, but does he have any maroon/red color on him?

Hard to tell by the pics, but they look like lates calcarifer's, barramundi, not siniperca chautsi.......

I'm going to have to agree with you. I picked up a perch at my lfs and they were calling it a chinese white perch. I looked at pics of perch on the net and the closest thing to what I got is the barramundi. Plus my perch has a big ol white stripe running down his nose. I was happy none the less I've been wanting to get a barramundi.

No he does not have maroon on him just a sort of gray color all over with sort of white striping especially a white stripe that goes along the top of the fish starting from the tip of the mouth to the tail. yea i know the pics are not too good but thats a cheap camera for ya.

it might be a barramundi but it was labled as chinese perch. If it is a barramundi, is 15$ still a good price for the 3 of them?

the glare from the flash of the camera might be why it looks maroonish also.

thats a pretty nice perch but yea mine does not have those maroon markings just gray and white.
