question to all you pleco owners. i have a 160 gallon with ca cichlids and want to add a pleco in there to control algae and scavange. i have some clown loaches and syn. cat in there on the bottom but would like to add a decorative pleco in there. with the ca cichilds, (jag, blackbelt, flowerhorn, convicts, and jd) would it be a rish to add a pleco in there? the fh is almost full grown and the others are around 8 inches. the convicts are still small at about 4 inches and dont get bothered by the other fish. can i safely add a fancy pleco to this setup? i dont like the normal plecos that they sell in petsmart or petco. thanks for your help!

Post your params. For the most part you should stay away from the really exotic plecos. A royal might work, however you are going to need some wood for them, but most you should have wood for. A chocolate pleco would be another choice, or a rhino pleco. However, you are going to want to get a larger specimen to avoid it getting killed.
