Order will include a few small sized Tigs, as per my previous order.
These are limited in low numbers so anyone interested maybe asked to put a small holding deposit down to avoid genuine buyers missing out.
They will be £135 each so £35 deposit would secure a stunning fish :naughty:
Also coming will be some interesting rays and cats including bolt cats and ripsaw cats.

Dan, what size do you reckon they will be?

Pics of ones from last import can be seen Just about here (http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31454)

Should be same size around the 4" mark hopefully.

They look good mate. Do they sulk when first arrive or did they eat well. Did have a nice 8" Juerense but made the mistake of keeping him with some of my large Ls and a big Royal Plec.

I think they snagged him and i lost him to a bacteria infection.

I have always wanted a Tig so having the breaking strain of a kit kat may well have a go.

Just looking at buying a Dwarf Caiman which is costing me an arm and a leg ( as long as it doesnt take my arm and leg!!) so will have to see.

Came in and were stuffing krill and shrimp straight away.
Greedy little sods, which I like :D

Dan, When you have a spare 'minute' can you take a couple of photos. Did they come in about 4" like you reckoned?

Definitely interested.

How much were you looking for the severum as I have a gold severum on its own and want to add more?

Cheers Darren

Hi Darren

If you click on the red writing in above post, then scroll down, top two pics under heading Tigrinus were last order. Think they are under the Trachy pics.

There were some that came in abit bigger. So fingers crossed :D

Dan,
When do you reckon you will get small tigs in again. Gutted because I dont think I can fit one of the 2 big ones above in a tank at the moment. Just collected caiman; he is not impressed at the moment with me and hissing big time.

Will still pop round when i said as would like the green severums. maybe found another tank by then as well.........

You have to admit a Caiman is a bit more interesting than a gerbil or rabbit!

Used to keep Morelets Crocodiles when I lived in Belize so thought I would try a dwarf one here. I dont think 5' is too big!?!?!

Cheers for letting me pop round today. I was well impressed with your set up especially your Rhom. The Tig is a stunner mate; think it is back to playing musical chairs with my aquaria.

Be good

Well some of you guys might know this import has been a bit of a disaster all round really.
Im not going to go into details untill I get the topmans responce on Monday about whats going to be done to rectify the problem but it was very seriously bad.
Im giving them a chance to put things right other wise naming and shaming will be put into place along with some pictures that are not good for the reputation of a company trying to export live fish. Watch this space.

Not good, but Im waiting for some answers on Monday.
Fingers crossed they will see sense.

Try searching by its correct name of Aguarunichthys torosus, not name some wolly called it :duh:
The basics are

Scientific Name Aguarunichthys torosus

Common Name(s) Jello Band Catfish

Size 346mm (13.6") SL

Info taken from Planet catfish Here (http://www.planetcatfish.com/scripts/clog_link.php?q=aguarunichthys+torosus)

Hope this is of some interest.
