Right now I only have a sengal and Ornate. The senegal is very active while the ornate hides most of the time. Which seems like typical behavior for each. Are any of the other species more active and less shy.. Mainly I want to know if delhezi or endli are active and closer to the senegal in behavior than the ornate. I know it depends on the fish etc.. but the typical.. Thanks..

Yeah I have a buttikoferi and he hides all the time. I found my endlicheri is much more active than my delhezi though. Of course my albino senegalus is the most active of all, and man does he eat and eat and eat. Given a choice id go for a endi over a delhezi any day, and if you can get a gold dust go for it. The buttioferi are great looking, even if they are kinda shy.

:) strange ... i've got a hyperactive ornate that almost as active as my palmas polli. my delhezis are also pretty active probably because i keep the tank dimly lit at all times.
