i thought all they do is "suck" up algae etc.DeLgAdO;542644; said:ok for once this is actually a dumb question
of course!!!
however he must be feeding off something, it would be impossible for him to continue if he isnt eating nothing
what else is in this tank?
what they eating?
Very few species of loricariids actually eat algae exclusively. Several are carnivores, many need wood in their diets. Common misconception is that they only eat algae that grows in the tank. There is SO much more involvement with owning plecos. My plecos diet is actually more varied than my arowanas, and they get a lot of variety.vtnamezeboi;542646;542646 said:i thought all they do is "suck" up algae etc.
