3 foot channa micropeltes and 3 foot channa maruliodes are my bets, too. I'm infatuated with large snakeheads. Primarily because I hear they are more active than bowfin. Bowfin are still nice though.

I wouldnt mind having a cichla temensis and largemouth bass together either, though. Or a jardini... damn I want a jardini.

I would do an amazon type biotope and put all full grown fish in there.
Were talking about shoals of 3 ft long arowanas, 5 ft redtailcatfish, 3 ft tigrinus
school of piranhas, pimas, pbass , black pacus as big as car tires , 30 ft diameter pearls, henlii , leos etc etc etc.. to me that would be the ultimate monster setup. :hearts:

gigas instead

I don't know what would breed there but the tank would be a biotope that would barely fit in the tacoma dome and would have to survive a seasonal drop of 10'. Amazonians rule.

Wow! I can't believe no one noticed that this is a 2 year old thread. I'll play along anyways. 3 possibilities for me:

1. My childhood dream of a breeding school of blacktip reef sharks and 100+ porkfish

2. An amazonian biotope with arapaimas, arowanas, stingrays, pbass, large cats, etc.

3. An african biotope with nile perch, ATF, and a butload of african feeders, aka mbuna

A giant tanganyikan biotope. With a glassed in front so you could allow bugs to breed in it, and awesome lighting system.

You'd never have to feed them, it would be completely natural emperors, frontosas, shellies, all in harmony living off the "land".

But i'd put a RTC in there too, just for the hell of it.
