To those of you who have a 300 gallon Rubbermaid stock tank, what are the dimensions of the inside, bottom of the the tank. I was wanting to get a pond started and this is a very cheap way to do so. Thank you.

52" x 58"
the 52" side also has the drain outlet in the center that protrudes out about 3".

I have a Rubbermaid that is 65" X 68" X 24"deep ; but I can't remember what capacity it was claimed to be. I calculate/estimate it to be between 300 and 340 gal.

That would be the 300 Gallon one.

Well (65 x 68 x 24)/231 =459 gallons
the (58 x 52 x 24)/231 = 313 gallons

They are oval & tapered. Those are the widest points.

They are available thru feed & grain stores, ie Agway, Tractor Supply,Stockyard Supply.
These are poly stock tanks, used for watering livestock. Also do an internet search for "poly stock tanks".
The rubbermaid stock tanks stand by themselves & are very strong. Should not need reinforcing.
