All the aro books I've run across have been primarily on the asians or aussies. I own one, can't find it right now, but it has quite a bit of info on both afro and SA, but focuses still on asians.

English aro books are not common. Most that can be found are not very imformative & generally deal with Asian aros more then anything else.

Arowana world! It is translated into english, and very informative about all types of aros. It does have more info on the asians, but still very good book.

all i have is the Return of the Dragon book, english version, but it only deals with asians and absolutely nothing on south americans and aussies. yet to see a book with adequate infon on silvers, blacks and aussies. its quite unfair, there should be a complete book for all aro species

Once more, "Arowana World" has information on all 7 species of arowana, 10 if you count the division of the asians.

This is the cover http://www.arowana.net/www/arowana1.jpg

LOL...I never said there were no English aro books, I said there are very few & yes we are aware of arowana world since it's been around in the east for at least 10 years now. Anyway IMO, it lacks depth & since it was published many years ago doesn't reflect on the trends etc. of today. I am sure however that many would still find the book useful.

Anyway there is another book that is a lot more current called Asian Arowana published by aquazoo of Taiwan in English as well as Chinese to those looking for such books. However, it does not deal with anything else besides Asian aros.

One of the reasons for this is probably cause most of the books about aros are written by authors & publishers where emphasis is not placed on silvers, blacks & jar/saratoga/pearls since they command less stature compared to the rest here in the east which is rather unfortunate.
