Yeah I've got 4 periophthalmus barbarus at the moment. great little guys had them for 4 months now during which time they have become hand tame and put on about 1/2" length. I would really recommend getting more as their social interaction is really fascinating and often hilarious! I also kept two boleophthalmus boddarti for about 3 months but this genus has never been kept alive for long in captivity as they feed on microalgae in the wild in fact I beat the previous record! As for the perios, they are in a 3' tank at the moment but I am getting a tank custom made at the moment to give them more floor space as they grow. :) Incidentally I would definitely say species tank for skippers as they are quite aggressive. How do you keep yours IB?
Here's a few pics:

I have caught them on flies and spincast lures near Phuket, Thailand where their is a species that gets a little over a foot long but the barbarrus, vulgarus, andpapilo species are all listed as getting around 6".

A friend of mine has been talking about mudskippers all the time. He wants to get them and I have a feeling he's going to break me down so I buy some too. lol. One supplier that I know has them is Franks Aquarium in NY. He also has boleophthalmus boddarti now. I didn't know about their dietary requirments. I wonder if spirulina pellets would work?
