Which ray is the best for beginners? Can they be kept with aggressive fish...rd , jack, pacu???

What should i know before buying a ray???
I have been reading on hear and alot of people loose them time and time again!!

Rays are a centerpeice to me... so putting them in with other centerpeices really doesn't make sense. Especially when they CAN kill the ray. Your going to have people say it will work and it may for them but I would suggest doing something a little less likely to kill your ray.

Good filtration is a key start. I'd suggest yepesi, or motoro for a begginer however motoro's will get too big for your tank. Yepesi it's unkown as of yet (to my best knowledge)

I have a reticulated ray which i guess is also called the teacup. (correct me if i am wrong) But i have him living with 2 oscars 2 jacks 2 convicts a clown knife 2 angels and 2 plecos and i haven't had any problems with them trying to kill him. However i do agree that you should do the research 1st and then make a educated decision based on that research. Like it was said before it may work for some and not for others

Rays will be coming in a few weeks, and wil have plenty variety. Also we have a 8" Humerosa coming in next Wed.
