my aro will only eat shrimp if the shell is peeled. other then that, he will not go for the shrimp or just spit it out.

Mine eat just about anything. The only two things they spit out are one algae wafers, and two hikari cichlid gold.

My 24" black aro hesitates on crickets sometimes and it won't eat market shrimp. It will eat any kind of pellet or dried krill.

my jar will only eat crikets , meal worms and night crawlers, won't even eat feeders.

My aro eats almost anything but I feed silver sides and shrimp mainly

you can try cutting the shrimp into bite size for easy picking. btw, how big is your aro? mine also eats almost anything including pellets. :)

My aro wont touch pellets.
Only likes insects, BW and smelt.
