What fish gets bigger ??? And what fish gets more aggresive ???

Pacu get bigger from what I hear. I have one not sure which he is yet everyone seems to think he is a pacu and man is he aggressive!!!!!!

Red Pacu gets larger, I believe they get about 2 feet, and are not all that aggressive. Piranha are more aggressive in packs.

Pacu get huge, in tanks they will eat anything much smaller than they are are the other fish has no where to go.

is there any way to get a red belly to get more agressive or are the just all shy :)

don't have any fish in the tank except other rb. anything that comes into the tank is seen as food. feed with the lights off

You have to condition them to a feeding response. Start with as many small ones as will fit you tank, feed everytime you open the lid, don't over feed, when you do feed feed only live food and one feeder at a time, stopping while the rbps are not yet sated, gradually increase the size of your feeders as the rpbs start to feed as you want them to, and expect to lose some rbps as they grow. In a 150g tank start with around 15@ 2", by the time they reach 9" you should have about 1/2 left and they will eat a feeder a little smaller than themselves.

Whats wrong with Pit Bulls? Pit Bulls are not always aggresive, it depends on there personality and how they are raised, I do rescue work and had a female pitbull that I took from an idiot that beat her trying to make her fight, no matter what this dog was gentle as a lamb. She wouldnt hurt a fly!!! Pit bulls get the rap for being mean because of their apperance and the fact that some idiots choose to treat the animals poorly and train them to be mean and fight. But that doesnt mean all of them are that way its just like any other animal it dpends on the breeding and how they are raised. Ive seen little yappy dogs that are meaner than some pits.

I think that he was comparing the desire to condition the fish to be more aggresive to the abuse people do to pits to make them mean. I don't think he was condoning it or slamming pit bulls. Most pits I have met were sweet dogs and most little yappers were psychotic undersized wastes of fur.

I just dont want people to have the misunderstanding that all pits are aggresive, or that all people that have pits are people who want aggresive animals. I understood where he was coming from it just brought up a good subject for me.
